Fried Tofu
This makes a quick and easy snack, and is good served with grilled veggies and soft tortilla wraps, or with your favourite dipping sauces.
| Ingredients 2 tbsp olive oil |
Method Heat the oil in a frying pan. Thinly slice the tofu and fry until golden brown. Just before serving, add the soya sauce and season to taste. Notes Tofu which has been frozen then defrosted has a nice chewiness to it (and freezing is a convenient way of storing the tofu if you haven't got a good local supply). |
