DOG FOSTERERS WANTED Special People are needed by a "National Animal Charity" to undertake the fostering of dogs who have suffered owner abuse or neglect within the Cambridge, Norfolk and Suffolk areas. All-vegan team completes UK 3 peaks challenge! From 13:00 3rd May to 12:25 4th May 2009, an all-vegan team completed the famous UK Three Peaks Challenge. They successfully climbed the highest mountains in Wales (Mt Snowdon), England (Scafell Pike) and Scotland (Ben Nevis), in less than 24 hours. They walked, ran and limped some 25 miles (40 km), climbed around 10,000 feet (3,050 m), and drove nearly 500 miles between the three countries, averaging less than two hours sleep!
