The Brighton Vegan Fayre March 21st 2009 The date has been confirmed for the first ever Brighton Vegan Fayre at The Brighton Centre overlooking Brighton Beach for Saturday March 21st. The show will be a flamboyant mix of all things vegan with the emphasis on fun and family entertainment as well as shopping and education. Vegan Research Advancement Grant I am doing my Master's Thesis in Vegan Nutrition on a topic that has never been explicitly researched before: How are long term vegans and long-term meat eaters' intestinal microorganism ecology different? I intend to test 20 vegans and 20 meat eaters with a comprehensive examination their intestinal flora to catalogue for the first time differences in the digestive system that develop with a long-term vegan lifestyle. The applications to this research are in health, nutrition, and agriculture/composting. The estimated cost of the study is $3000. I am looking for a funding source, who is personally and professionally interested in seeing these results, to provide these funds as a grant.
